This unit was in the property already when we moved in nine years ago it is mounted over the bath and still operates without problem when showering.
The difficulty I am experiencing with it for quite a while now is that whenever a tap hot or cold is operated anywhere in the home or the dish washer or washing machine draws water the shower head drips water at all other times its dry.
Now as the head is over the bath the drips do no damage but when someone is having a bath it drips in the face and is most annoying.
Do I replace the fitting or can it be repaired.

I would suggest a new cartridge as the best option.
