Mira Advance ATL Thermostatic shower reset problems

Hi, i have a Mira Advance ATL Thermostatic shower, when i try to do a reset ,the reset will only work when the shower is set to 1 (cold) . Once i try to turn the dial past 1 the blue power button on the unit flashes and the shower stops. When i do the reset on 1 it will allow me to press the the flow button to high and it will still work until i turn off/turn the dial over 1.
If i try to do the reset on the highest setting hot it comes on for a couple of seconds then cuts out straight away.

No warning lights light up (water supply or reset)

The unit is 7 years old .
