Evening all.

My Mira Event XS Thermostatic Power Shower has stopped working. The plumber chap says the easiest and best solution is to replace it like for like.

It seems that whilst there are plenty about, these aren't being made anymore and will cost in the region of £350 from the non high street sort of websites. (the manual version is available cheaper as expected).

Is there another Mira that could be used that is more readily available? or another brand?

Recommendations welcome. Thanks in advance!

Is that cause it's easier for him ?
Did he actually test for a fault ?
What's wrong with the shower ? Theres not much to go wrong on these and are easy to repair if you know what your doing.

These are still made and all spares are available.
These are one of the top power showers on the market along with the triton as2000xt so no reason for mira to stop doing them.
