Hi

I have a Mira Event XS that has stopped working.

So far I have checked:

motor/pump working fine
resistance of solenoid is OK
power is getting to solenoid
water flow OK
filters clean

If I run the shower without the front cover I can see that a small amount of water if flowing into the plastic reservoir - but not enough.

I'm thinking that the solenoid whilst it's resistance reading is OK is not working properly.

I have found a place that will just supply the solenoid for £15 - should I change the solenoid?

What exactly is/is not happening?
What reading did you get across the solenoid?

No water flowing out of shower.

Pump is running.

Solenoid reads 3.4K

Solenoid has power to it when shower switched on.

Just split solenoid from plastic valve assembly and found that the diaphragm has a split in it.

Can I just buy a diaphragm or am I best to go for the complete unit?

Only comes as complete solenoid valve about £35.

With evidence you have given, no water being delivered at shower rose, would suggest a troublesome solenoid.
So exchange it.
