Hi

I’m thinking that my Mira Event XS M shower is due a replacement.
I believe that this type of shower is a thermostatic power shower?
Are these showers now mainly obsolete? as the only replacement I can find is a very basic looking shower from Screwfix. Preferably I’d like something a little modern and maybe black in colour.
As the mains cable is only 1.5mm flex I’m presuming this limits a replacement to 3kw?

Hoping to get a little advice on how to proceed.

Many thanks

*apologies for the sideways images

I don't think obsolete is the right word.

Looks exactly the same as your old one.

Thereabouts but not really relevant.

Well - without rewiring and replumbing you cannot have an instantaneous electric shower if that is what you have in mind.
