Mira troubleshoot.

i have a mira 415 combi shower which will only let me recieve hot water when i open a hot sink tap as well as shower control. when i turn sink tap off hot water ok. any thoughts ? ps removed shower head pressure seems ok.

Which combi boiler do you have? Could be failing diaphragm in combi.

Vailant and i just had it serviced by BG.

Which Vaillant?
Black panel? Grey Panel? Green knobs? Two square gauges?

BG service - or was it a safety sniff - probably wouldn't have noticed.

Vailant and i just had it serviced by BG.

If it's on a contract they won't even have serviced it, just safety checked it. Either way they wouldn't have paid much attention to the water side. You probably need a boiler engineer who understands Vaillant Combicompacts. They have quite complicated hydraulics - it might just be the diaphragm, but could be other things.
