Mirra replacement shower head

Hi all,

I have a Mirra Sprint shower. The shower head isn't working as well as it should be, and I'd like to replace it. A couple questions:

- is there more to it than uncscreewing the head at the stalk and screwing in the new one? Presumably the water won't shoot out as the shower unit will be holding back the water flow..

- are the fittings for Mirra replacement showerheads universal? Or do I need to buy like for like?

yes you just unscrew the hose and the water wont come out , make sure you swap the washer over from the old one, now the hard bit, you cant just fit any shower handset, you need one with the same flow rate as the original
