Hi,

I have framed 6 mirror tiles ( self adhesive) with ceramic wall tiles above a wash basin in my downstairs cloakroom. Can anyone tell me if I can use ordinary ceramic wall tile grout between mirror tiles ? I remember from somewhere that tile adhesive and grout can cause problems after time with the backing of the mirror. Any ideas what I can use, if this is true. thanks

As I understand it, cement based adhesives will eventually start to attack the reflective backing of mirrors.

I'f fitted a fair few tiled in mirrors over the years, but I always get them foil backed and made to size in one piece. So I'm not sure what you'd use to grout a mirror tile.

thanks :D , my only thought would be to use silicon sealant, very carefully, unless someone can think of a better way.
