Missing.beam

Hi everyone I have just noticed in my nightmare house that I have two columns in line where there would have been a dividing wall at one time, should there still be a beam in place do you think orange the columns just supporting upstairs do you think?

OMG. Someone reported a missing cavity wall on here last week!
