Hi,
I mixed up a tub of Dulux Weathershield with some water as per the instructions on the tin to create a solution to use as my mist coat for an exterior wall with bear patches of render where I scraped loose paint way.
I went back to the job a few days later to work on a different section of wall. However, I didn't put a lid on my tub of paint I mixed with the water and it had formed a skin. I imagine that water has probably evaporated as well. I guess I need to remove the skin and add a bit of water to it. As this has already been diluted, I'm not sure how much water to add back. If I add too much water will this be ineffective as a mist coat? Would an over diluted paint be better than an under diluted paint as a mist coat?
Thanks.
