Mitre block for cutting trim around window?

Is there a specific small mitre block available to make cutting aluminium trim around a window at perfect right angles?
I'm really trying, angles look good but don't line up perfectly so I'm hoping to find a solution.
How do the pro's do it?

B and Q do a cheapo plastic number for about £3.50 - works fine.
