I have just bought a Dewalt Mitre saw with a 216mm blade. Will I be able to use my 210mm blades in this, or is that a big no no?

So long as the arbor hole diameter is the same then yes you can. I guess the blades have the same thickness?
John :)

Thickness isn't critical on the DW 216mm saws. I use a variety of thickness of blades on my DW777, but all 216mm diameter. To use a smaller diameter blade may require a piece of plywood or MDF to be laid on the bed of the saw to achieve the full cross cut length as you'll probably lose 10 to 15mm off the full crosscut length with the smaller blade
