Mitre saw for skirting?

Its a Makita so you won't go far wrong. 60T is a very smooth blade, I would use that for cutting laminated surface more than skirting. 40T is probably about right for a clean MDF cut.

But it will work, just slower

Ah ok, I've found a 40t so will get that.
