Mitre saw

Looking for a cheapish mitre saw mainly for cutting skirting and architraves.

Been having a look around but not really sure what the best would be so I came here to ask the experts.

Looking at those, sort of hoping can get one cheaper tho.

Just about any saw would probably suit for DIY work, although cheaper ones take a bit of squaring up.

Makita only make the one MLS100. They're both the same saw.

Top job merlin, you've just suggested the same saw at a higher price.

Oh ok thanks, Ill think i'll go for that one.

Am I right in thinking the max size of skirting I can miter cut is 130mm?

That should work out perfect as it's 119mm skirting I've bought.

Correct, 130mm is the tallest you'd be able to cut with that saw. Anything bigger would require a sliding saw.
