I've got a mixer shower in my bathroom similar to the one shown below.
It's worked fine ever since I moved in to the house, but over the last month or so it's become almost impossible to get any cold water out at all. When I turn the cold water tap it's really really stiff, and I can only turn it around two turns before it won't go any further. At this point if I'm lucky I've got a trickle of cold water. The problem is if I want a shower, the trickle of cold water isn't enough to cool the water down, so I've been hopping in and out literally like a scalded cat
Even if I turn the hot tap as little as possible (just enough so that there's enough water to stand under) the hot still takes over and I get a scalding trickle.
The amount of cold water is the same wether I'm running a bath or a shower, and all of the other cold taps in the house are fine. Any advice very gratefully received!
