I fitted a mixer shower using the Cold water tank and teed off the hot water tank. Despite there being a head betwwen the cold tank and the shower head the flow is rubbish. it does get a lot better when the mixed it turned to cold. Any ideas.

Thanks thought that would be the case. Although there are many posts saying the flow would be ok thats not my experience. Would 1.5 bar pump be ok as I am not bothered about being relentlessly bombarded( My daughters house has pumped showers and they use a ridiculous amount of water and make you feel like the skin is coming off)

Thanks again

if your shower head is only about 1m from your cws in loft then yes you won't get a good pressure.
1.5 bar will be ok.
but take the hot feed from a surrey flange etc, not from the existing hot feed.
