Hi, I have just moved into a new flat with an electric shower which although it does the job doesn't have enough force. I would like to install a mixer shower but I am worried about there being enough pressure.

From the shower head to the bottom of the cold water tank the distance is 2100. From the shower head to the bottom of the HW cylinder in loft is 1100, should pressure be OK?

I measured the hot water cylinder to be 900 x 450, can anyone tell me how long the water would last for?

thanks

That would depend on the temperature of the water in the cylinder and the temperature of the mixed water coming out of the shower.

You would need a shower booster pump fitted next to the hot water cylinder with a cold supply from your tank and a supply from your cylinder. Then have this pipes from the pump to your mixer shower.
