Mixer showers and flow rates

I wish to purchase a mixer shower for a balanced hot and cold water supply from cold head tank and hot cistern.
Having looked in a catalogue at some technical specs, I am confused as how there can be so much difference in the quoted flow rates between different models?
For example one shower quotes a flow rate of 4lts /min with a 0.1 bar head and another quotes 10lts/min with the same head pressure?? Can this be possible?

Easily, It depends on the size of the waterways!.

You mean the internal sizing of the pipes? Why would one manufacturer design their mixer to be worse than the best you could achieve. I checked the flow rates against the prices, but the more expensive ones did not always give the best flow rates!

Ok, I will go for the best quoted flow rate at the right price.
