Mixer tap - loss of pressure, now no cold water...

Morning all,

The mains fed mixer tap in my kitchen always worked perfectly then a couple of weeks ago the cold pressure seemed to half and now it's not running cold at all. Sometimes we get a small dripple out of the cold side but never a flow anymore.

Hot side works perfectly.

Can't see any reason why this would happen? We have recently changed from a gravity fed hot water system (was S-plan) to a combi but the cold side was always mains fed as far as I knew so can't understand it...

Any and all advice welcome!

Can be blocked.

Further to this, the washing machine is fed off the same fed (about 10 cm from flexi pipe to tap) and is working no problem...

Hi Seco - thanks for your reply.

The flexi hose isn't twisted. When you say blocked to you mean the value in the mixer tap? Is so how can I inspect that?

Can be something blocking the end of the flexi/crud etc they are only very small bore pipes when they are screwed into base of mixer.
You'll have to strip it down.
