as it seems only black chalkboard paint is available I thought I'd have a go at mixing some myself using this recipe I found on the internet:

3 teaspoons acrylic paint
1 1/2 teaspoons glazing medium [water based]
1/2 teaspoon powder tile grout [Not Sanded]

anyone tried this? chances of success before I invest in the 'glazing medium'?

thanks!
