hi i was wondering how easy it is to install another power point in the boot to run a cool box on a journey to spain thanks alot peter

Doesn't it have a cigarette lighter type socket in the boot already, mine does??

hi thanks for the reply . not that i can see its a53 ghia hatchback.i know they place things in funny places ,only just found aux input in glove box so you can just plug i pod in.where abouts is yours thanks peter

Mines an estate btw, it is above the offside rear wheel arch somewhere, with a rubber bung in it.

It'll be as simple an electrical job you will ever do on a car.

Run a fused live sraight from the battery (or fusebox if there is a spare holder and you can know what you're doing) to the socket, and then just find an earth point in the boot to connect to.

Job done!
