MOD 5 - Why did you lock this post?

Locking posts without warning is the sign of a troubled moderator.

Were you bullied at school by any chance

I agree that a warning might have been a good idea!

However, whenever it gets into the usual Softus trolling and just dissecting others postings and adding nothing to the original topic its quite clear that the discussion is going nowhere and deserves to be locked.

Glad that I dont get involved in anything like that! I just stick to clear technical advice.

Tony

PS Who is this Mod 5? Why does he not introduce himself?

You keep on wearing your underpants outside your trousers Tony the industry needs super-installers

Mod 5: You weren't that overweight spotty little ginger haired kid who walked with a stutter and talked with a limp, wore NHS specs held together at the corners with elastoplast and had a body odour problem were you? If so, I humbly apologise, I was too brutal and deserve everything I get

Sounds like Scruffy John!

Didn't see you at Cov on the Friday!

Didn't go Tony, had a bad day at the hospital on Thursday.

Sorry to hear that, particularly on the one day in the year when you wanted it to go well !

Quite a good show I suppose.

I mildly complained that the unregistered installer seminar should have been on the last day and at a later time. Ray King agreed and said they would sort that out in the future.

He said the room was "full" and they had a "pasionate discussion" !!!

Your opinion wasn't requested or needed.
But then, neither was mine.

Glad that I dont get involved in anything like that! I just stick to clear technical advice.
Whose cheek is your tongue firmly in at the moment?
I have spare boyfriend...

Locked because we are all mad?

Are you bored by any chance?

This is the one on the subject of "(central-heating) air in system"

Not about people abusing each other for their differing opinions on points of law.
You've come a long way, but you're not there yet.

Rather than lock a topic that had been hijacked, it would have been better, and a great deal more constructive, to split the topic and move the discussion about "points of law" (sic.) to the GD forum or the Trade Talk forum.

Maybe we "are all mad" (sic.), but let's not forget the main point, which is that without contributors there would be no need for any moderators.

OK Softus I edited your post.
Well done. I suppose that whimsical and pointless edit justifies your existence.

My posts may be comfy, but they are not cheap or disposable!
