I have now got a similar issue with my dishwasher. It was switched on today using the 30 minute quick wash and then it almost instantly tripped the RCD for the main circuit. It was tried two more times and the same happened.

Later the same day it was tried on the Eco 50 setting and it started OK, then part way through the cycle the red light shinning on the floor was flashing constantly and the buzzer was sounding in pulses of 3. During this time it appeared that the pump was constantly running. The door was opened to stop the machine. Water had been sprayed in and it had been heated, and the detergent dispenser had opened, but the detergent had not dissolved.

I have conducted the error code check, as previously mentioned in this thread, and can confirm it is error code code 3.

If it helps the PNC number for the machine is 911935627/01.

Any help would be gratefully received.

If you have error 3 (i30) then the antiflood device has been activated (water on the baseplate). There is a leak someplace & this is also the most likely cause of your rcd trip. Tip the machine forward to drain the water off (have some old towels ready). Draining the water off the baseplate may allow you to restart the machine but I would let it dry out for a day or so before trying to track down the source of the leak.

Thanks Zipper for the feedback. The machine was leaking from the plastic housing/hose attachment point on the very top of the machine (not sure what it is for) which had come unclipped. The water was slowly dripping down the back of the machine then into the drip tray. Clipping the housing back on has corrected the fault.
