What is the current standard with the amount of glazed area on a modern pvcu profile?
Are all modern frames so thick and chunky that the amount of glazed area is reduced? Are there any profiles that offer a larger glazed area than others? What is this ratio [of glazed area to profile] referred to as?
It seems that older profiles had a much larger glazed area in relation to the thickness of the frame. Is this true? Is there any variation in modern profiles on this particular issue?
Do flush windows mean a much bigger reduction in available glazed area?
