why have you removed my post?

It's not spam...
it's not abusive...
Have a word with yourselves.

it's was put on 3 forums for good reason. Not everyone reads or has access to every forum...

What was it about?

Its a pity when mods remove posts without telling the poster why they have done something!

just repeated a post from the cc, im after some quality footware for work, thiers a lot more people on this forum so thought I'd give it a try, harmless obvious not...
Why post to the CC in the first place? It's not a gas safety related matter.

Trade Talk would have been the obvious place.

Dickies shoes with kevlar toecaps. I always have them. Nice and comfy without the weight of half a steel girder at the end.

Because the CC has as many contributors as at least half the other forums put together and a vast majority of them only use the CC, it also generally consists of people who have used and bought the things which are being discussed as opposed to this and other forums where people with nothing better to do then to google for the answer and pretend to actually know what they're talking about get involved and think that having read about something makes them an expert. no offence

The guys on the CC get on well and have decent conversations about all manner of things, gas is just something we have in common...

WTF are you on about with a condescending post like that  Offence taken; some of you gas guys think your fking gods (not) & I DO take offence if you think no other trade is as worthy as yours, a waste of time & don't take safety seriously! what an asre wipe. In your dreams

Karis, you have just proved the point admirably.
What point was that then Dan; that your also a self opinionated knob!

Gluing pipes together isn’t difficult or even that complicated once you know what your doing. On most developments, the gas part is essential (in most cases) & requires a modecome of intelligence but it isn’t really that special & is nowhere near as skilful as many of the manual & most of the wet trades in building; without them, you wouldn’t have a purpose in life. You guys are an essential but none the less a secondary trade; without the primary building trades, who many of you seem to look down on, the only “job” you would have is domestic refurbs; but perhaps that’s all you do anyway & rip off pensioners & old ladies.
