Soap despenser opens but the soap does not despense. It just runs down the door. I am using the same detergent as I always have.

I'm no expert but it sounds like your soap dispenser is fine. The problem is that your water isn't getting to it. I would guess a pump or solinoid is out.

Blocked spray arms are the most common cause of this.
