Moldeo MK3 FTP.

Had an FTP this morning, 2002 MK3 Mondeo, 2.0 Litre petrol, 170k miles. Turned the key, engine fired and stopped. Second try was the same. Now just turns over without a hint that it will fire up.

It seems that I have no power at all reaching the petrol pump. Have checked Fuse 27 in the under bonnet fuse box and it tests good. Are there any other fuses I should check?

Well I.ll be jiggered. Charged my battery for 5 hours, tried starting the car and it fired up straight away. Just like the man who posted about this subject in a youtube video.

It is likely that my fuel pump is the original from the factory. If so, it must be getting tired after 170k miles. So I will change it.
