Monarch Door alarm in a UPVC door - clueless???

In my UPVC door on the side there is a alarm system which i am clueless about. I even asked a locksmith who said he has not seen this alarm in his life.

Google also has no clue on this. Does anybody have any info on how to set and use this alarm.

yes had one in our door, cannot remeber how it works. but if i remember it takes a 9v battery.

I have more up to date ones in my doors...the company has dissolved now...I would also like to find out how to work them if at all possible
