Scantronic i-on10 alarm - door sensor issue

I had an i-on10 alarm fitted with a front door sensor and 5 motion sensors around the house approx. 3 years ago and never had any issues until a couple of months ago.

Approximately 4/5 times per week, when opening the front door (with the alarm not set), the alarm goes off and displays the message "Tamper Zone 0" (Zone 0 is the front door). I then have to put the code in and reset the zone, which stops the alarm going off and then it is usually okay.

The issue is very temperamental and there is no set pattern as to why or when it occurs, which is why I haven't called anybody out - and 90% of the time, the alarm does not go off when unset and the door is open. Whereas sometimes it has gone off twice in about 10 minutes.

Has anyone seen this before? And is it worth calling an engineer out to have a look at?

To be honest, with the positioning of the indoor motion sensors, the front door sensors aren't really necessary, so if it's not an easy fix, is it possible to just exclude Zone 0 (the front door sensors) from the entire alarm system? (with my limited knowledge, I could only see a way to disable the motion sensor zones when scrolling through the panel settings).

Damp or resistors in the door contact issue would be my guess …..post picture of door contact
