I've had a search of previous threads and don't seem to be able to find anything that relates to this, so apologies if I've missed something.

I've got a monobloc mixer tap in my kitchen that's leaking. The hot tap is very tight to turn. The tap heads aren't the type that have caps to pop out and then unscrew to get to the washer. Nor does it have a nut-style neck that you can unscrew to service the inside - it's all smooth.

My question (and it's probably a very daft one!) is how do I change the washer!!

Any help would be very much appreciated!

I think you'll find both the collars will unscrew, but might get marked in the process.

You'll need to replace the valves, assuing they're 1/4 turn type, which is notoriously difficult for noname tapes.
You could look atthe examples at lunns.net

Thanks ChrisR, you were spot on. It was easy peasy in the end - just needed the confidence to give it a go, so thanks again.
