Hi all,

First post here so hope I'm not breaking any rules with my first post!

I have some Roca mono-block / mixer taps from a few years ago and living in a super-hard water area the tap tails are full of limescale and need to be replace, but I can't identify how to remove (and replace) the tap tails, they don't seem to have any visible nut or anything, however I have noticed a small "tongue" sticking out of the side of the tails. Does anyone know what kind of tool I need to remove these and when I replace them, where can I get them?

Thanks in advance

Steve

They are designed to only be hand tightened. But if you are struggling to get them out then use some pliers on the smooth section nearest the tap base

Thanks for that, I will give it a go, I think the limescale may have crusted them up a little which is why I assumed I would need a tool.

Going by the normal design of flexis, the top chrome section will unscrew out of the bottom chrome section. The bottom chrome section would be the female tapping inserted into the tap body.
