Israel was massacring Palestinians long before Hamas was a thing.
When it comes down to it, what can one actually say about the whole thing? What happens in war? Innocent people on all sides injured or killed.
The world 'leaders' who enable this should hang their heads in shame, however they won't.
No wonder it becomes a never ending cycle in some cases. Is it any wonder some kids grow to become fighters themselves (perpetuating the issue) when they've seen members of their family, perhaps their parents and/or siblings, blown to smithereens?

This is lost on Netanyahu, he just thinks "we'll go in and finish off Hamas, and that will be be the end of it"
The naivety is childlike.
Wiser people know that this is the path to genocide.

He pretty much finished off Hezbollah which weakened Iran, rid Syria of Assad and is currently engaged in peace talks with Syria and Lebanon who are both expressing an interest in joining the Abraham accords.
Peace is on the table if the Arabs want it.
Qatari money, although Netanyahu allowed the money to go through, acting as a bag man in the mistaken belief it would pacify Hamas.

Netanyahu has more than one motive. He is also trying to stop himself losing power and going to prison. What is good for Netanyahu is no longer necessarily good for Israel.
