The Tangerine Tyrant is already touting the Insurrection Act in those places where ICE is being pushed back at. Invoke that Act in a few strategic blue states (often just the capital city of the state is enough) and you have many more boots on the ground. Ten ICE stormtroopers at the best polling stations scooping up latinos and asians and the odd black too, and the mid terms are won.

FWIW I have said for ages that I think the mid terms 'may have to be cancelled for security and safety reasons'. We'll see.

They did something similar in Florida during the 2000 election when they took away the rights of almost a million people mainly based on race...

Their silence on this thread is deafening, postponing elections to local Councils that will shortly cease to exist is more important to them

Dont under estimate europe on this. Yes USA has a lot of clout within Nato but they are also reliant on the other countries for their input. If you take the numbers of troops available to Nato without the USA Nato can muster more. There is no way Trump can risk a fighting war with a Nato alliance.

However Europe does need to remove reliance on American hardware, planes etc. It will do more in the long run to hit America in their pockets.
