mosai tile-cutting for a curve

How do you cut the mosaic tile that has the mesh backing to circle around the edge of the bathtub. We have a 1931 bathroom that the tub has a curve end (not between two walls), and we were trying to figure the best way to cut the tile so it will go with the curve of the tub (tile is not small bits, but something like rectangle squares that have a dot in the middle--pinwheel design)

Lay as many full sheets as possible, then mark the curve on another sheet or make a paper template and transfer to the sheet.

Use a pair of tile nippers to snip away the individual mosaics back to the line, any full mosaics in the waste area can be removed by cutting the mesh with a stanley knife.

Or you can buy grit edged jigsaw blades that are suitable for cutting tiles. I've never tried it but they claim to be suitable for cutting tiles. I'm sure they'll be available in the states.

Problem with using a jigsaw on the mosaic is that they are so small they will tend to jump about a lot. Also a lot of mosaic is glass or porcelain and the carbide blades will find it very hard going.
