Two years ago we cleaned out the joints between our block paved drive and filled them with kiln-dried sand.
We are now finding that a few weeds and, more to the point, moss is growing in the sand. Also 'soil' tends to collect in the gaps and this seems fertile. We have tried the regular application of weed killers and moss killer without lasting success.
Would we benefit from

Would we benefit from
- cleaning out the joint and not refilling the gaps so that there is nowhere for the moss to grow? The bricks are firmly in place and we are not too worried about them moving.
- cleaning out the joints and refilling with kiln dried sand and then just cleaning the paving with bleach and water regularly?
- Using a special kiln dried sand, such as Geo-fix or Wickes' Dansand no weed?
