the actuator is sitting on the valve properly and not pushing against the wall at all is it ?

Er, I've fixed it! It's now fully working. It wasn't jammed up against the wall, so either me lubricating the valve or operating the actuator loose or refitting it several times has fixed it!
Does this sound like it is on it's way out?

i would of said its more the valve faulty.
