Motorised Valve - Synchron Motor

I’ve come across two motors.

I suspect one works and one is scrap.

As the valve is not very accessible, I wonder if and how they can be wired "on the bench" for a test.

Any ideas please ?

Thanks Alastair. I meant to post to Plumbing & CH but it was one of my Christmas Eve mistakes. Will try to put it right later.
