Hi there

can anyone tell me how to tell whether a motorised diverter valve is working properly please? The lever feels very loose and doesn't seem to move when the heating is on.

the lever don't mean nothing its not a indicator of position of the valve.

whats the make model of the valve ?
why do you suspect a faulty valve ?
are you getting heating/hw ?

need more info.

you mention the lever is loose if heating is on it willbe loose as the valve has motored across to the heating position.
