I've recently bought a house in need of repair from internal water damage caused by a leak from the shower. The leak occurred when it was unoccupied, and filled the kitchen ceiling and walls below it with water. We're gutting out the kitchen completely and starting from scratch but after taking away the old kitchen ceiling it revealed a lot of mould on the underside of the bathroom floor above - see pic.

Is the mould treatable or are we looking at needing a new bathroom floor? (I'd like to avoid this option if possible). It has been several months since the leak so everything has had a decent time to dry out.

Is it chipboard floor? if so replace as it will be severely weakened by having been wet.
