We have a corner sofa in our lounge with a floor lamp behind the sofa in the corner that's plugged into a socket nearby.
To turn the light off and on I have to scramble onto the sofa and lean over to press the light switch which is one of those floor mounted press stud things. I know I can lift the switch higher and maybe Sellotape it further up the lamp but I don't really want to do that.
What would be great is to have some kind of motion detector so I can simply wave my hand over the back of the sofa and it turns on, wave it again and it turns off.
I've found motion detectors but they all turn the lamp off once there has been inactivity.
If anyone could point me to the right product it would be much appreciated.
Cheers
