I would like to widen the entrance to my driveway by moving a brick pillar (please see attached pictures) by about one metre. My neighbor knocked down entire fence but I'd like to keep part of it and make sliding gate. I did not found any plans at his address and I read planning portal looking for any restrictions but nothing found there. I assume I can go ahead without any permissions? What do you think would be estimated cost of this job (without paving) in West Midlands?
