Moving a radiator - concrete floor

Duct tape first then felt lagging. Not really necessary but I like to do it as it's an extra barrier.
Shortest run is the best and then split pipes to each end of new rad valve positions. Give finished pipes a good clean to get rid of all the flux residue and stop the green.

Edit: duct tape laterally along pipe and then just fold it round. Don't wind it.

Dont use a grinder, IMO, you will be forever finding dust.Use a breaker or decent SS drill with chisel and wide blades.

The biggest problem may be soldering the first connection, they can be a devil to get dry enough. Drain down making sure all air bleeds and rad vents are open,.Open manually any 2 port valves. water below drain cock level will be present, so be ready with mop and bucket and rags. A wet and dry vac may be usefull for sucking dregs out of pipe
