Hello, jsut joined this forum and already have a question I hope someone may be able to help with. I know for single glazed properties it is best to place radiators under the windows. In our front bedroom it is on the opposite wall, in the second bedroom there is no radiator but the pipe work is in place, again on the opposite wall to the window. Is it worth moving the radiator and re routing the pipework? This would involve a lot of upheavel as the floorboards would have to come up in both rooms(in order to place a new one under the window in the second room)? I'd rather leave things as they are, but would it make a big difference?

Gawain.

Only if you intend sitting/laying under the window area.

Usually best to heat the natural cold spot in the room, radiators often installed back to back on walls you describe for ease and cheapness of fitting.
