Hi, I have a puma combi boiler that was installed before I bought the house. The filling loop is situated beneath it. Since then I have installed a new kitchen, the problem is the filling loop is now behind the fridge (integrated).
Is it worth moving the filling loop, is it a big job? I know I shouldn't need to get to it that often, however I am still renovating the rest of the house and the movement and addition of radiators is still to be undertaken. Unfortunately I am not able to do them all at the same time.
One idea I did have was to fit an electrically operated valve, like in a central heating system?

Electrically operated valve is no good for filling the system. The filling loop (flexible hose) should be removed unless when it is actually in use for filling.

As for moving the filling loop setup, a lot would depend on the existing pipework and how much space you have...
