Hi All,

In have fitted a new slimline radiator in place of an old one and now need to re-route the pipe work. I was basically wondering if anybody has ever used a freezing kit? I have got easy access to both 15mm pipes, so I was planning to freeze the pipes and install two isolator valves so that i can carry on with routing the new pipework once the pipes unfreeze. I'd rather go this route than drain the whole system down.

If you mean one of those cheap kits with the aerosol and a jacket, then personally I wouldn't trust it. What system do you have? Combi? Tank & cylinder?
