Moving\replacing a staircase

Hi,

We are currently in the process of renovating a house. One of the suggestions our acrhitect has made is to have a new staircase fitted to create more room.

Is anyone able to give me an idication of how big a job this is and would it take long to do (just for info it is just a standard size staircase in a 3 bed semi)

it can take three blokes to fit a staircase.

fitting difficulty will depend upon how the stairs will be supported by the structure, and whether or not there are any winders, sub-landings, full height newels etc.
