Older house and all the light switches are at 1300mm off the floor. I put some new ones in a stud work partition at 1200mm by mistake. Plasterers been and gone, now I see my mistake!!
Is it going to make a right mess if I move them up to 1300mm?

I think you know the answer! Will it really show (comparison with others in same room)? I'd be tempted to leave it, and claim you were being Part M friendly if anyone asks.

Shouldn't make too much mess.

Mark and cut out new switch box, and fit box.

Then screw a piece of wooden batten across the hole, with 1 1/2 inch wood screws.

Then fit the off cut piece of plasterboard to the hole, again using wood screws.

Fill as required.

All done forever then.
