Moving the Gas and Electric meters

Hello people, As you guessed I need to move the meters. They are currently on the side of the house where I need to extend. So has anyone got any advice on where to start please? Someone has told me it depends on which supplier you are with as some are cheaper than other but ive also been told its British gas regardless. (for the gas). I would lie to hear what anyone here has had to pay and how that price came about?

 

£475 to move my gas meter 5mtrs in the North West.

I fit a new meter box into the wall, the gas people connected to that and Gas Safe guy connected from the meter to the boiler at extra cost.
