moving the kitchen

Hi - thinking about moving the kitchen in to what is presently the lounge. I was wondering about the mains c/w feed. Would I have to extend it (up the kitchen wall, through the joists and down into the new kitchen), or should I get the water company to re-route it?

The C/W should'nt be to difficult done in plastic.

Much easier to use than copper in this instance.
