Evening.
Lately I’ve been cutting some grass where it’s been a little wet. When I get home I always wash the mower & lift / tilt to do the underside. Are the wash deck fittings any good , worth there money etc as £17 seems a lot for what it is.

I guess you are talking about the Hozelock connection onto the deck?
Yes, they do work and it’s a good move to keep the deck underside clean.....especially if it’s steel.
John :)

Yes that’s correct.
I can’t see to pay £17-£20 for it.
I’m going to 3D print one.

As this mower isn’t fitted with one where in the top of the deck am should it be inserted. It’s my luck that I would drill a hole where the item would have little or no affect.

The usual position is maybe 2” in from the blade tip, so the water splashes to maximum effect.
I prop the grass door open, and stand well back!

Its only a means of delivering water to the underside if the deck, its the blade spinning which sprays the water around to do the cleaning .

At my last place I had a water nozzle set in the ground and drove or pushed mowers back and forth over it, very handy with multiple mowers to wash.

Hi,
Not the attachment BUT the part it connects to.
Cheapest I’ve seen is £17 so I’ve designed my 3D version.

What do you think ??
